2023 Winter Retreat February 17, 18 & 19
![]() |
Join us for our ACT UToledo Winter Retreat beginning Friday night February 17 and ending Sunday February 19. We will be traveling to Montgomery, Michigan.
The cost for the weekend is $40 and includes lodging, food, devotional materials and more! Sponsors are available for those who need help covering the retreat fee (no one should miss out due to $!!!).
What is it all about?
This weekend we will look to God's Word to help us see how we can discover God in all areas of our own lives. We will pray, worship and seek God's guidance and discernment - and have a lot of fun, too!
You are invited to join us at Hermitage Hills Estate, a Greek Revival mansion which graces 64 acres of rolling glacial till in rural south central Michigan. Hermitage Hills Estate was built in 1995 as a replica of President Andrew Jackson's Hermitage in Nashville with plenty of space for our entire group, four fireplaces, four ponds, hiking trails and more!

Was Jesus Baptized Twice? Find out FRIDAY at Bible Study
![]() |
This week Bible Study has moved to Friday night at 7 PM. As we continue through Matthew, we will look this week at the question from Matthew chapter 3: "Was Jesus baptized twice?"
Our weekly studies are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Each focuses on the big issues around faith and to unpack what it means to grow as a Believer and learn the basics of Christianity through ALL of God's Word.
The most important part of the evening is our discussion. This is your chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic. There's never an obligation to say anything. And there's nothing you can't say! It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
During the year we do topical studies along with in-depth study of Scripture. In every case, we dive into God's Word to discover truths applicable to our world. Our studies have three things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.
