Join us most Friday's for our "Friday Night Thing!" We bring together ACT BG and ACT UT at the "Weaver Family Ranch" (6260 Prov Neap Swan Rd Swanton OH 43558).
Be socially distant but close in the Spirit in the great outdoors!
We have s'mores, hot dogs, pudgie pies, popcorn, campfires, volleyball, games, ping pong, croquet, lazy hammocking (our word), swimming (in a small pool), music and more!
All are welcome beginning at 6:30 PM and ending whenever. Those who don't wish to make a late night drive home are welcome to camp out or sleep in the barn (no reservations needed!).
Bring your own bedding, mosquito repellent and anything else you think you might need. No charge for the hot dogs but if you want something more substantial, feel free to bring something to cook over the fire.
Make sure to check the calendar for specific "off days" during the summer.
Worship Encounter Kids Edition ~ June 28, 2020.
Something a little different this edition! The Weaver family has been involved in a "virtual mission trip" during the final week of June so all week so there hasn't been time to prepare a regular worship service for Active Christians Today. Instead, ACT UT Campus Pastor Scott's kids decided to record their own version of our weekly Worship Encounter time together. So, enjoy some time with Dawson, Kerrigan and the Skit Guys for our Worship Encounter this week. And huge thanks to them for giving their dad a much-needed break this week! Enjoy! And please ignore the ice cream maker mixing in the background...
Worship Encounter Replay ~ Good News on Father's Day June 21, 2020.
It has been a crazy end to the 2020 school year but through it all we kept our eyes on God and joy in our hearts. Enjoy some smiles from the last couple of weeks as we remember to: "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." ~ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Congratulations to our 2020 graduates! We are praying for you as you seek God's will for your life as you continue your journey. Remember that no matter what happens to hold on to your faith in God. "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13
