Praises at ACT UT

Summer vacation hasn’t stopped ACT activities! We have been meeting weekly in fellowship but also planning and getting set for a great fall semester. We praise God for all He has done through our ministry this past year and the foundation He has built for the future.

Three ACT UT students along with the Weaver family have just returned home from “Brothers’ Keeper” which is a workcamp mission ministry based in Ripley, West Virginia helping disadvantaged families with basic construction and repair work in their homes. This includes building wheelchair ramps, porch construction, painting, drywall repair and more.

We have much to be thankful for as we welcomed the Williams family in June. Don Williams moves into the seat vacated by Dave Warner as the ACT BG Campus Pastor. We now have a fascinating situation in which the campus pastors of UT and BG are alumni of the opposite university where they now serve. This will make for a very invigorating and fun UT versus BG football game this fall!

We praise God that the Williams family arrived safely from Colorado. They were greeted by a large moving crew that helped them quickly unload their belongings and get them settled in Perrysburg.

Prayer Requests at ACT UT

Our summer ministry continues with our weekly “In the Woods with Jesus” which includes a campfire, devotional and games for students every Friday night all summer long.

Continue to pray for our UT students participating in “Rocket Launch.” Many days this summer our students are greeting new students at the University of Toledo. It is a great opportunity to let them know about ACT and to find a safe “home away from home” at UT.

Continue to pray for our student leadership team as they are completing plans for this Fall. We have many opportunities and we request discernment in following exactly where God wants us to be!

As always, we truly thank you for your prayers!
